A FAMILY PORTRAIT: SEASCAPES
Spanning generations, from the late 18th century, to the early 21st century, artists in my family have captured images of the sea, in their own En Plein Air style. Artist Joseph Severn, my GGG grandfather, began painting en plein air, which has been passed down, over hundreds of years, through the family tree…keeping the tradition, of “Plein Air”, alive.
